A person who delights in God’s Word is like a tree planted by streams of water. Always nourished. Always flourishing. Always bearing fruit in season. But without that constant supply, even the strongest-looking tree will dry out, weaken, and wither.

Week 1 of our 6-week devotional series Rooted. If I asked you to picture a tree, most of us imagine the leaves, branches, or fruit—but rarely the roots. Yet a tree can only stand tall through storms when it’s deeply rooted. In the same way, our lives thrive when we are rooted in God’s love. His love never fails, never wavers, and holds us steady in every season. Today, rest in this truth: you are loved—completely, unconditionally, and eternally.
